Perspectives (On the World Christian Movement) is Coming!
Beginning on August 24th, “Perspectives”, a course of instruction helping the body of Christ see the world and our place in it like Jesus does, will be offered at Lake on Tuesday evenings at 7 PM. Dynamic speakers will be bringing their experience in our Lord’s global plan to bring the gospel of Christ to all peoples, tongues, tribes and nations and to give each person in attendance an idea of how they can strategically participate in this plan.
The array of speakers includes Don Richardson, who wrote the book “Peace Child”, a redemptive story of how he introduced the gospel of Christ to a tribe of headhunters in Indonesia. This will be an exciting and enlivening experience which is guaranteed to give each attendee a vision for his or her purpose in Christ. If you are interested, please call Jim Thwing @ 971-244-2341.
Married Less than 15 Years?
Couples with and without children who are married less than 15 years join us for a outdoor barbeque in Bob Brown’s beautiful backyard Saturday July 31, beginning at 5:30 pm.
